This is not the type of book I would normally read. So, when I tell you I enjoyed it thoroughly, it should give you an idea what an excellent writer Ms. Gery is. What could be just another story of a family torn by frustration, temptation and redemption becomes a riveting tale in her hands. It is definitely a worthwhile read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it. The details of living in a different age made it interesting and every scene was described so perfectly I could imagine it, and yet the story was unpredictable. Very enjoyable.
